Simone Guido Izzi is an electronic music producer, composer, and sound and visual artist based in Berlin. His work has taken shape through collaborations with Adelita Husni-Bey, Mohamed-Ali Ltaief, Jack Dove, Tutto Questo Sentire, Colli Independent, Nitin Lachhani, LSWHR, Viaindustriae, Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and Rinse FM France.
With Stefano Galli he ran the HomeMadeZucchero record label until 2019, and in 2022 he founded SMM0000. He is also the owner of ROOM411, a sound studio in Berlin.
Simone holds an MA in Sociology of Communication from La Sapienza University in Rome and an MA in Sound Arts from LCC London.
His research listens to what lies at the edges of perception: sub-frequency sound, the unheard, the polyrhythmic. Resonance, feedback and distortion become political tools, ways of working on sound and space, dissociation and displacement.
